circa 1875, with 7in. sighted barrel with cannon muzzle, fluted cylinder, solid frame marked 'S&S. V.C.S. C.G.H. / SUHL' on the left side, smooth walnut grips, butt-cap with regimental marks 'B&M 3.24.', and lanyard ring, all matching numbers with strong traces of finish
